📋 Description

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with Stryker’s mission and global category goals • Optimize supplier performance across service, quality, and cost • Set strategic direction for key supplier partnerships • Serve as escalation point for supplier issues, including quality concerns, dispute resolution, and commercial implications of product field actions • Drive continuous improvement in supplier capabilities • Lead global sourcing projects and strategic initiatives beyond the sourcing function, including program management efforts • Engage with senior leadership and executive stakeholders across Stryker and supplier organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management or related field • 8 years in Supply Management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development • Knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms, and contract administration • Knowledge of supplier processes and supply chain risk factors, including experience in assessing and mitigating risk in the supply base • Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services • Ability to build relationships and influence across multiple functions and levels both internally and externally • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and cost reduction methodologies • Experience with supplier metrics and measurement methodologies and supporting systems • Experience operating in a highly regulated industry preferred • Medical Device industry sourcing and supplier management experience preferred • International sourcing and supplier management experience preferred • Project management experience preferred
