📋 Description

• Design efficient architectural recommendations, gain buy-in, and implement them reliably • Improve, oversee, and coach standards for code and infrastructure maintainability and performance through documentation and peer review • Collaborate with analytics, business intelligence, finance, sales, marketing, product, and other stakeholders to identify business data needs • Produce data processes that enable better products and support growth decision-making • Champion data governance in engineering workflows • Evolve and scale the data platform for business growth and stability • Tackle the organization’s most difficult and critical technical challenges • Rapidly diagnose complex problems, align solutions with diverse stakeholders, and deliver high-quality data solutions • Balance rapid delivery with high-quality data outputs • Report directly to an Engineering Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software/data engineering experience • Expert hands-on Python and SQL practice • Track record of ownership in high-stakes situations, urgency, and rapidly integrating new technologies to drive quantifiable business outcomes • Experience designing and implementing logical, well-architected solutions for complex, large-scale data engineering challenges • Deep experience in database design, warehouse data modeling, and developing distributed systems • Ability to communicate intricate technical details and complex requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Predictive modeling and machine learning experience is a strong plus
