📋 Description

• Lead the implementation, optimization, upgrades, testing, go-live, and stabilization of Epic ancillary applications • Manage, mentor, and develop Epic analysts and clinical application teams • Partner with physicians, clinical operations, HIM, patient access, and IT stakeholders to evaluate and optimize clinical workflows • Maintain application performance, build quality, documentation, and adherence to enterprise standards • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, vendors, and technical resources • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, ITIL, security, audit, and organizational requirements • Lead change management, end-user support, training, and issue resolution • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and operational technology budgets • Support Epic integrations with other enterprise systems and participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Science, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience supporting enterprise clinical or ancillary applications, including 3+ years in a management role • Strong Epic ancillary experience with applications such as Beaker, Cupid, Lumens, OpTime/Anesthesia, Radiant, and/or Willow • Epic certification in at least one ancillary application • Experience supporting Epic within a large hospital, health system, or integrated delivery network • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, Epic architecture, application lifecycle management, and optimization • Demonstrated experience leading teams and partnering with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders • Preferred: Master’s degree • Preferred: 7+ years of Epic ancillary application experience with 5+ years in leadership or management • Preferred: Active Epic certification or accreditation in multiple Epic applications • Preferred: PMP and/or ITIL certification • Preferred: Experience with Epic technical environments, databases, servers, or Nebula
