📋 Description

• Independently negotiate and maintain best pricing for new and recurring items within designated contracts • Provide technical review of parts and drawings • Maintain databases for ongoing technical data updates from customers • Maintain a sufficient supplier base per item to meet contract specifications • Cultivate supplier relationships for assigned contracts • Maintain supply chain redundancy to achieve best cost and quality • Improve costs and reduce supply lead times • Establish tiered supplier cost on individual items • Obtain current pricing and lead times and perform data entry • Manage workload for assigned commodities and contract items • Review, monitor, and replenish stocked items • Perform inventory forecast analysis based on sales history and customer demand • Maintain quality assurance and contract compliance under government requirements and AS9120B standards • Manage First Article Testing and other quality test procedures as needed • Manage technical data • Communicate with management and external providers • Resolve non-conformances with internal and external stakeholders • Issue purchase orders and follow up on backorders, expedited deliveries, and rescheduled orders

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree, or 3 years of procurement experience • Proven experience in procurement, or supply chain preferred • May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience • Excellent negotiating skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders • Highly meticulous and organized to execute multiple projects at once, adhering to deadlines • Ability to read and interpret technical data and drawings • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to engage in and exchange communication with others in all situations • PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software a plus • Proficiency using JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Software highly preferred • Required to be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent residency (green card holder)
