📋 Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive consumer education and marketing strategies for Thriving Wisconsin • Design, write, and publish marketing and consumer education materials for diverse stakeholder groups • Create print and digital brand and campaign assets while maintaining brand guidelines • Manage and update the organization’s website and social media platforms • Develop and execute a strategic social media calendar • Ensure communications are clear, culturally appropriate, accessible, and compliant with accessibility requirements • Manage the contact database using Constant Contact or other web-based communication tools • Monitor child care and early childhood education media coverage and cultivate media relationships • Develop press releases, media kits, advisories, and an online press center • Pitch stories highlighting program outcomes and statewide impact • Coordinate marketing efforts with state and community-based partners, including CCR&R agencies and FRCs • Support marketing components of the annual membership renewal process • Plan and facilitate marketing and communications Communities of Practice events • Support consistent network language, branding, and website components across member agency websites • Coordinate outreach initiatives, events, and campaigns • Manage the design, procurement, and distribution of promotional materials • Expand public awareness of Thriving Wisconsin and member agencies • Create and promote consumer education campaigns and resources • Develop media outreach strategies to secure earned media coverage • Lead impact reports and data-informed storytelling for funders and policymakers • Develop communications strategies advancing network-wide priorities • Participate in monthly staff meetings and quarterly in-person meetings • Support the agency mission, vision, and strategic aims • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or closely related field • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or programmatic support • Nonprofit, human services, or early care and education experience strongly preferred • Ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and deliverables • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills • Ability to translate complex systems change into compelling storytelling • Diplomacy and solutions-oriented relationship-building with media, funders, and diverse community stakeholders • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining collaborative and team oriented • Ability to manage competing demands, multitask, and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite • Proficiency with website design and maintenance software • Proficiency with major social media platforms • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar • Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Constant Contact, and related digital design tools preferred • Familiarity with Google Analytics or social media analytics platforms preferred • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance • Ability to travel statewide, including overnight stays as needed for quarterly meetings or events
