• Work denials, appeals, and aging reports • Follow up on medical claims that have not been paid timely • Contact insurance companies to determine why claims have not been processed • Send medical records • Contact patients regarding additional information needed to process claims • Work with coding on denials
🎯 Requirements
• High School graduate or equivalent • Medical terminology • One to three years' experience in health care industry with third party reimbursement, collections and public contact • Computer experience required for billing, word-processing and spread sheet entry • 1 year of Excel spreadsheet experience • 2 years of medical billing denials and claims experience • 7am-5pm schedule (Mountain Standard Time)
