• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities for robotic systems, components, and related materials across a complex supplier base • Create and manage purchase orders in SAP, ensuring pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and documentation are accurate • Work with contract manufacturers and key suppliers to manage order execution, material availability, capacity, and delivery performance • Partner with Planning, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Strategic Sourcing to align supply requirements with production and project needs • Monitor supplier performance and provide visibility into material status, shortages, delivery risks, and recovery plans • Expedite critical materials and drive suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, pricing, and capacity issues • Support supplier negotiations, cost-reduction initiatives, and commercial discussions • Manage purchasing impacts associated with engineering changes, demand changes, and evolving program requirements • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to clear outstanding invoices in dual ERP environments • Identify supply risks and escalate issues early to drive resolution • Analyze purchasing and supplier data to improve cost, delivery, inventory, and overall supplier performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related function • Experience working with complex suppliers, contract manufacturers, or outsourced manufacturing partners • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and purchase order management; SAP experience strongly preferred • Experience managing material requirements, supplier delivery schedules, shortages, and order changes • Strong supplier management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Ability to work effectively across Engineering, Planning, Operations, Quality, Finance, and other cross-functional teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong Microsoft Excel skills • Experience supporting robotics, electronics, electromechanical products, automation equipment, or other complex manufactured products is preferred • Up to 10% travel may be required • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to supplier, client, or other business locations as needed
