đź“‹ Description
• Source and purchase Spares and Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL) components against accurate demand • Build and maintain supplier relationships within the category • Drive cost savings and high fill rates through vendor consolidation, contract negotiation, and supplier selection • Partner with Planning to align procurement strategy with business needs • Use SAP and planning tools to analyze inventory, order patterns, and sales data • Identify and mitigate delivery, quality, cost, and performance risks, escalating recommended resolutions • Report material status, including expedited and late orders, and resolve shortages or problem parts • Maintain accurate purchasing data and planning parameters for MPS/MRP processes • Lead bid package development and manage RFQ processes • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve purchasing issues and meet internal and external service levels
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience • Minimum 3 years of experience with MRP systems; SAP preferred for PR/PO generation • Experience with relevant commodities, including conveyors, lifts, robotics, automation controls, steel, and material handling systems • Familiarity with the related supply base • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred • Valid driver's license • Ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations • Up to 10% travel may be required
