📋 Description

• Enter prescription orders and medical records into the computer system • Contact physician’s offices for refill authorization as needed • Contact clients to verify orders as needed • Process new and refill prescriptions • Open orders, verify eligibility, proof and input prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards • Document correspondence and follow up in the system • Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to the manager • Forward incomplete or rejected prescriptions to the appropriate department and track resolution status • Research lost or missing orders as requested • Provide backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels • Answer incoming calls promptly and provide high-standard customer service

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) • Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements • FrameWorks LTC experience required • Ability to work a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Pharmacy data entry experience preferred; minimum one year • Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology • Docutrack experience preferred • New employees must obtain all state-required Pharmacy Technician licenses within 60 days of hire if they do not already have them • New employees must obtain Pharmacy Technician National Certification within six months of hire if they do not already have it
