📋 Description

• Achieve planned inventory management Service Level, DSO, and Spoilage goals while maximizing operational efficiencies • Review critical items and take necessary action to support end customer service level • Review daily out-of-stock report, communicate to sales as needed, and expedite orders appropriately • Manage inbound purchase orders by confirming cost, quantity, dates, overdue orders, overages, shorts, and damage • Maintain forecasting system parameters to manage demand changes, customer events, business shifts, and seasonality changes • Use the Manhattan inventory planning tool DPR at an intermediate proficiency level to drive team performance through scorecards, dashboards, and merchandising KPIs • Support returns to suppliers and product recalls as required • Manage purchase order costing and date accuracy through confirmations and alerts • Follow supplier and corporate market conditions and trends to identify purchasing opportunities • Provide basic demand planning support and field feedback to the Corporate Planner for action or alignment

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma • Bachelor's degree • 1+ year professional business experience or relevant Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience • Experience working within a retail, wholesale or distribution environment • Strong Excel skills • Inventory Management/Purchasing experience in distributor with 10,000+ SKUs • Ability to resolve conflicts quickly, research issues, and follow up with timely communication to all key stakeholders • Ability to quickly learn to understand systems to answer basic inquiries without escalating • Ability to work cross-functionally across the enterprise • Strong attention to detail and follow-up • Proactive attitude to highlight and address issues as they arise • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational and planning skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to understand and execute standard replenishment processes and best practices • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
