Founded by Stanford Alums and backed by industry leaders from Visa, HP, Disney, and Google, as well as top VCs like SemperVirens and Reach Capital, we are shaping the future of work. • Take2 AI is hiring a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to own and scale the infrastructure behind our AI-driven products. This role is for a builder who thrives in complex, distributed systems and is energized by end-to-end ownership—someone who’s led technical execution in both high-scale environments and fast-moving startups. You’ll drive core architecture and ship systems that blend backend excellence with AI application development. • What You’ll Do: Architect, build, and scale backend systems powering AI products; Lead technical execution: make key architectural decisions, mentor and delegate, stay hands-on; Build and ship end-to-end AI applications, working closely with product and founding teams; Own the reliability, scalability, and observability of distributed production systems; Help shape our technical culture as a key early member of the engineering team. • Preferred: Built, deployed and scaled end-to-end AI applications (LLMs, speech/voice, recommendation engines, etc.) in consumer-facing products; Experience with LLMs, Voice, Streaming, Low Latency, or Machine Learning Pipelines.
• 10+ years software engineering experience (with high exposure to full stack) • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering • Has held titles such as Senior SWE, Staff/Principal Engineer, Software Engineering Lead, or Technical Lead • 2+ years at a Series D+ company • 2+ years at a fast-paced and high-growth early-stage startup (Series A or lower) • Demonstrated hands-on technical leadership—ownership of a domain, architecture decisions, delegation/mentoring • Experience building, operating, and scaling large-scale, high-throughput, high-availability distributed systems, including observability/monitoring and reliability for mission-critical systems • Capable of contributing across the stack—backend, infrastructure, and web/frontend—jumping in where needed to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Comfortable navigating and working within infrastructure environments, including Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, EC2, and Docker—able to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize services in production. • Skilled with JavaScript, Node.js, Python, React, AWS, EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL/Postgres
