📋 Description

• Administer, configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud resources • Provision and manage Azure compute resources, including Virtual Machines, managed disks, availability options, and supporting services • Administer Azure storage services, including storage accounts, Azure Files, managed disks, backup, and recovery capabilities • Configure and manage Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints, routing, load balancing, and connectivity • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform or comparable technologies • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes • Support Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC, including identity and access management • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security and proactively address potential issues • Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions • Support backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, patching, and infrastructure resiliency requirements • Support cloud governance, security, configuration management, and change management activities • Develop and maintain technical documentation, infrastructure diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures • Collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, cybersecurity teams, application teams, and other technical stakeholders • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less-experienced administrators at senior/expert levels

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of applicable professional experience for mid-level positions • 15+ years of applicable professional experience for expert-level positions • Bachelor's degree • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure infrastructure in an enterprise environment • Experience with Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, and infrastructure management • Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and backup/recovery • Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code technologies • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Extensive hands-on experience designing, administering, engineering, and supporting enterprise Azure environments for expert-level positions • Advanced expertise across Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, security, automation, and resiliency for expert-level positions • Strong experience with Terraform/IaC and infrastructure automation for expert-level positions • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues and performing root-cause analysis for expert-level positions • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity for expert-level positions • Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor less-experienced team members for expert-level positions • U.S. Citizenship • Active Public Trust (highly preferred)
