📋 Description

• Assist in training specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within TEEX Workforce Development Programs • Serve as a lead instructor at COAST in Corpus Christi and RAM in Brownsville • Coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety Program course activities for assigned courses • Conduct course topic presentations and demonstrations using course teaching aids • Apply adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success • Deliver effective course instruction to a broad audience • Report to the ITSI Workforce Development Program Coordinator

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Five years of related experience in environmental, health and safety in the Construction and/or General Industries • Two years in adult education and/or training and a background in training concepts and programs • Applicants must reside in Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, or Willacy County • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment • Must have a valid passport or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment • OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer (OSHA500 and/or OSHA501) • Equivalency: three years of related experience with an Associate's Degree in an applicable field, or one year of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field • All equivalency experience must include two years in adult education and/or training and a background in training concepts and programs • Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation and credential verification
