📋 Description

• Assist in training various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within the TEEX Workforce Development Programs • Coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety Program course activities associated with delivering assigned courses • Act as a lead instructor guided by TEEX STARS values • Conduct course topic presentations, including demonstrations with course teaching aids • Utilize adult learning theories and learning styles to present and maximize learner success • Deliver effective course instruction to a broad audience • Report to the ITSI Workforce Development Program Coordinator

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Five years of related experience in environmental, health and safety in the Construction and/or General Industries • Two years in adult education and/or training and a background in training concepts and programs • Due to the location of course facilitation, applicants must reside in any of the following counties to be considered: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, and Willacy • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment • Must have a valid passport or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment • OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer (OSHA500 and/or OSHA501) • Equivalency: Will consider three years of related experience with an Associate's Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university, or one year of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university • All experience must include two years in adult education and/or training and a background in training concepts and programs • Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation • Employment is contingent upon verification of credentials and/or other required information
