📋 Description

• Coordinate facility outreach and national survey activities • Plan and administer survey activities, including launch, technical-assistance, and closeout meetings; collection methods and schedules; information packets; participation monitoring; non-response follow-up; and resolution of outstanding documentation • Identify and manage survey participants by querying and validating source data, preparing launch files, generating REDCap identifiers, maintaining distribution and contact records, configuring invitations, and issuing reminders and weekly status reports • Provide technical assistance through email, telephone, web portals, webinars, and virtual meetings • Triage the NAC shared mailbox and create FAQs, guides, one-pagers, presentations, training materials, videos, social media content, reports, and customer-feedback products • Manage survey and inventory data across REDCap, SQL, Microsoft Access, Excel, and related systems • Perform data entry, validation, correction, linking, tagging, record creation, logging, audit documentation, records management, troubleshooting, integration, optimization, and platform transitions • Coordinate with developers to resolve duplication and data-flow issues • Clean, audit, analyze, and safeguard survey data • Identify missing, duplicate, inconsistent, out-of-range, or illogical values and maintain quality-tracking reports • Analyze participation, non-response, facility characteristics, trends, projections, potential bias, and containment performance • Prepare facility, post-launch, monthly, annual, and national containment reports, dashboards, tables, presentations, and analytical products • Obtain NAC approval before developing external analyses, reports, manuscripts, abstracts, or press materials • Use SAS, R, Power BI, SQL, and other approved tools to transform data, build analysis-ready datasets, maintain dashboards, develop visualizations, maps, methodologies, performance measures, and trend analyses • Automate technical-assistance, data-processing, and reporting workflows • Apply the NAC Quality Management System and conduct quality reviews • Maintain SOPs, guidance, and process documentation • Identify corrective, preventive, and continuous-improvement opportunities • Develop annual survey and non-response plans and document sampling, clearance, training, privacy, processing, reporting, and timelines • Collaborate with CDC staff, facilities, developers, and multidisciplinary groups on data gaps, harmonization, and mobile collection needs • Support authorized meetings, site visits, trainings, scientific products, and dissemination activities

🎯 Requirements

• Three (3) or more years of relevant professional experience in public health informatics, survey operations, data management, data analysis, database support, program reporting, or a related area • Experience supporting survey administration, participant tracking, data collection, and stakeholder follow-up • Ability to query, clean, validate, transform, document, and analyze data from multiple sources • Experience developing reports, dashboards, data visualizations, presentations, SOPs, and user guidance • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with REDCap, SQL, Microsoft Access, Power BI, SAS, R, or comparable tools • Ability to communicate technical and program information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong organization, attention to detail, documentation, problem-solving, and customer-service skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet recurring deadlines, and work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment • Ability to handle sensitive information and comply with applicable security, privacy, quality, and records-management requirements • Ability to obtain government clearance • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Public Health Informatics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, or a closely related field • Preferred: Experience supporting CDC, HHS, another federal public health program, or a public health laboratory network • Preferred: Experience with REDCap survey administration, participant management, and reporting • Preferred: Experience with SQL databases, Microsoft Access, SAS, R, Power BI, or similar tools • Preferred: Knowledge of public health surveillance, biosafety, biosecurity, laboratories, poliovirus containment, or infectious disease programs • Preferred: Experience developing data-quality frameworks, audit documentation, automation, or process-improvement solutions • Preferred: Experience preparing scientific, technical, executive, or customer-facing reports and presentations • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • May need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
