• Provide clinical services and promote and sell Tandem Diabetes products within an assigned territory in partnership with a Territory Manager • Plan and achieve sales goals through clinical acceptance of Tandem products • Identify potential customers and establish and develop business relationships that facilitate product and clinical-services sales • Provide clinical and sales support and product education to trainers, physicians, and their staff • Provide Tandem product training and support to patients • Leverage customer training and clinical expertise to generate positive clinical outcomes and sales • Develop strategies with the Territory Manager to address clinical concerns and retain existing relationships • Identify sales leads and gather prospecting information • Promote Tandem’s market position and differentiate its products and clinical services • Educate prospects and customers on healthcare trends, web-based solutions, Tandem products, services, outcomes, and population health management • Complete product training, documentation, and communication with healthcare professionals according to company policy • Establish and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals • Conduct initial and ongoing recertification of Tandem Pump Trainers • Collaborate with Customer Technical Support Specialists and Clinical Support Specialists on post-sale product issues and patient education needs • Update CRM records for business dealings within the assigned territory • Maintain a territory call cycle to maximize time with prospects and customers • Ensure compliance with privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements • Report to the Regional Sales Manager for sales and business-process responsibilities and partner with the Regional Clinical Manager on clinical responsibilities, goals, and compliance
• RN, RD, or RPh, or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience • BSN preferred • Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential: CDCES or BC-ADM certified or eligible • 2 years’ experience coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology • Experience with video remote education preferred • Ability to relate effectively with patients, referral sources, and health care professionals • Ability to communicate effectively as a clinical expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems • Skilled at presenting educational material clearly and concisely to various audiences • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing market • 1 year related diabetes/endocrinology industry experience preferred • Ability to travel at least 80% in the assigned territory • Valid driver’s license, required auto insurance, and good driving record per company policy • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, excluding marijuana, and background check
