Taxwire is a sales tax platform and managed service that handles sales tax and global VAT end-to-end for companies. It provides an AI-native tax engine for calculating tax (including complex cases like multi-line invoices and products that don't map to standard categories), performs nexus studies, taxability research, registrations, back-filings, filing and remittance across jurisdictions, and offers a managed indirect tax team that makes judgment calls and handles audits. It integrates with billing, commerce, and accounting stacks (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Shopify, Amazon, etc. ) and exposes APIs for custom setups. Taxwire targets software, e-commerce, and manufacturing customers and emphasizes compliance automation, filings, and audit readiness.

📋 Description

• Own finance operations: invoicing, collections, vendor management, expense reconciliation, oversea our accounting firm and monthly close process, etc. • Build and maintain revenue operations infrastructure: pipeline hygiene, forecasting support, deal tracking, CRM maintenance. • Support customer experience: handle escalations, identify process gaps, implement fixes that improve retention and NPS. • Drive special projects: whatever the business needs from new tool rollouts, process optimization, cross-functional initiatives, ad hoc research, etc. • Partner directly with the CEO on strategic initiatives and company-wide operations. If something becomes important and Andrew needs help in driving it forward, you make it happen. • Build scalable systems and document what works so we're not reinventing the wheel every quarter.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally with at least one role at a startup • Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end process across finance, operations, or revenue functions • Strong quantitative skills → comfortable in spreadsheets, building models, and working with financial data • Excellent communication skills → you can write a clean memo, run a tight meeting, and explain complex topics simply • Self-directed execution → you don't need heavy oversight to get things done right.
