📋 Description

• Lead and manage a medium to large business management team or diverse function in an area of moderate risk, complexity, or scope • Develop, communicate, and implement a holistic strategy for the business management function • Oversee, lead, manage, and plan work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas • Lead development and integrated implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across functional areas • Partner with management and teams on industry, enterprise, and business matters • Identify emerging trends, issues, and opportunities and recommend actions to senior management • Lead relationships with key enterprise partners and interface with leadership teams • Provide integrated views, escalations, recommendations, and decision support to leadership • Forecast programs and initiatives and coordinate portfolio prioritization with stakeholders • Provide functional/business communications aligned with business strategies and executive direction • Ensure adherence to enterprise frameworks, methodologies, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite • Assess, mitigate, monitor, report, and escalate risk, governance, control, and compliance issues • Optimize resources and leverage TD's operating model to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and scale • Lead or contribute to cross-functional and enterprise initiatives • Lead governance meetings or committees and related deliverables • Oversee risk-based identification, monitoring, regulatory compliance, controls, and remediation plans • Provide team leadership, coaching, development, succession planning, recruitment, resource management, and performance input • Set team targets and objectives and deliver results • Grow team expertise and assess team skills and capabilities • Foster productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork, and professionalism • Coordinate resources to meet deadlines and manage workload • Establish relationships across business and technology partners, program managers, and project managers • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree • 7+ years relevant experience • Deep knowledge and understanding of businesses/technology and organizational practices/disciplines • Sound to advanced knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends related to the function/business • Knowledge of business management frameworks and methodologies • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management, governance, financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and asset control • Ability to lead and manage a medium to large business management team or diverse function • Ability to develop and implement business management strategies, policies, processes, procedures, and changes • Ability to forecast programs/initiatives and coordinate portfolio prioritization • Ability to assess, mitigate, monitor, and escalate risk and compliance issues • Ability to establish relationships with business, technology, enterprise, corporate, and control-function partners • Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results • Ability to use standard office equipment • Ability to perform sedentary work and multiple tasks continuously • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions • Ability to perform basic arithmetic • Occasional domestic travel; no international travel
