📋 Description

• Manage TDS associates and consultants planning, coordinating, and supervising Colocation/Joint Use activities across multiple locations and states • Work with field services, associate managers, consultants, Outside Plant engineers, COLO/ROW team members, third-party consultants, and construction/engineering contractors • Communicate and negotiate with director-level and above outside contractor vendors, city managers, mayors, directors of public works, and other senior decision-makers • Oversee colocation team members responsible for OOT and CLEC/ILEC projects across the TDS footprint • Ensure compliance with RUS Outside Plant guidelines and TDS OSP standards • Monitor costs, create and maintain reports, drive adherence to TDS standards and practices, and create workflows and protocols as needed • Ensure construction project support is completed on time and within budget • Drive program-level change and build relationships across internal and external teams • Set team goals and expectations; coach, mentor, and develop team members • Manage right-of-way operations including budgets, accounting, issues, resources, contracts, risks, compliance, methods, standards, personnel, strategy, and planning • Manage programs and project expectations, budgets, scope, quality, deliverables, closeouts, and records • Select, hire, assign, delegate, and schedule internal and external project resources • Develop and implement methods, standards, controls, reports, processes, tools, checklists, guides, forms, databases, and procedures • Establish and communicate national performance expectations; monitor and report consultant and staff performance • Provide human resource management and associate apportionment for network projects • Manage in-house deployment staff and professional consultant engineers during peak periods • Conduct performance assessments, coaching, recognition, and process improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience • 7+ years of land surveying, right of way, and/or route acquisition experience • 5+ years of supervisory experience • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license • Excellent leadership, project management, customer relations and communications skills • Thorough Understanding of Telecommunications industry and principals • Deep understanding of CLARITY/PM style programs and creating analytic reports • Thorough understanding of financial tracking and budgetary reporting • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Understanding of Colocation/Joint use process • Excellent written and oral communications skills • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Office suite as well as GIS and ESRi • Working knowledge of RUS construction practices and engineering standards • Ability to work cooperatively and courteously with diverse work groups • Must be self-motivated and self-reliant • May be required to travel regularly on an as-needed basis
