• Administer and support initiatives developed by Brand Activation and Engagement • Support consumer initiatives through local marketing activities and community development efforts within assigned markets or marketing function • Identify and coordinate community involvement activities, events, and sponsorships that develop and maintain TDS’s brand and generate sales opportunities • Monitor new development and work with the Manager to implement local community partnership initiatives • Build partnerships with Multiple Dwelling Unit properties, developers/realtors, partnership organizations, and association-based entities • Identify public relations opportunities and competitive threats in supported communities • Research local event and sponsorship opportunities and recommend participation • Coordinate event registration, volunteer recruiting, event management, and results documentation • Serve as local market advocate for products, services, and operational performance, sharing issues with the Manager • Support marketing strategies through customer demonstration events, open houses, customer appreciation events, and other public events • Build relationships with MDU owners/property managers, Homeowner’s Associations, real estate agents, and developers • Develop contacts with Chambers of Commerce, town administrators, community business groups, and leaders • Administer tactical and targeted sales initiatives, including sales blitzes, group demonstrations, campaign support, referral generation, targeted prospecting, and local activities • Monitor competitive threats and opportunities • Collect competitive data and provide competitor offering, pricing, and supply comparisons to product management/development teams • Assist the Manager with Aid to Construction and Land Development Agreements as requested • Perform other assigned duties
• Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license • 2+ years marketing, marketing, community outreach, or event planning experience • Ability to travel 5-35% of the time in the assigned territory • Ability to coordinate and execute successful events • Self-starter with ability to work independently • Ability to manage multiple projects at once • Experienced in building strong working relationships • Strong communication skills • Background and/or working knowledge in customer service, marketing, management and/or sales • Must reside in Eastern Time Zone, with a preference for North Carolina, Georgia, or Indiana
