• Execute Team Rubicon’s strategy to enhance the ability to respond rapidly and locally to disasters • Develop and maintain relationships with disaster assistance organizations at state, county, and city levels • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of Greyshirt volunteer leaders • Manage purchasing and expenses according to the Branch budget plan and approve events in the system • Provide emergency operations center (EOC) support and disaster response coordination across relevant agencies as needed • Coordinate response activities with local, state, federal, and non-governmental agencies • Assist in developing and implementing disaster response strategies and ensuring efficient resource deployment • Facilitate communication between field operations, the EOC, and external stakeholders • Motivate and inspire coworkers, contractors, volunteer leaders, and volunteers to support service delivery within assigned geographies • Build relationships with community partners in emergency management, VOAD, and local disaster assistance organizations in Oklahoma and North Texas
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in military, disaster response, emergency management, or first responder fields • Proven personnel management experience, including recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers • Proficiency with technology tools and remote working for communication and coordination with staff, Greyshirts, and external stakeholders • Successful past performance leading volunteers highly desired • Reliable transportation required • Ability to work evening and weekend schedules supporting leadership meetings, video conferences, events, and operations • Willingness and ability to travel at least 25% non-locally within the assigned territory • Ability to work a flexible and non-traditional schedule
