📋 Description

• Lead large, complex system integration initiatives across business and technology domains, including platform implementations, data migrations, vendor integrations, and operational transitions • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, and delivery schedules • Drive execution across multiple workstreams and align dependencies, priorities, and timelines • Bring structure, clarity, and forward momentum to ambiguous and evolving initiatives • Facilitate decision-making and guide stakeholders toward practical solutions • Coordinate collaboration across Operations, IT, Product, Finance, Provider Network, Enrollment, Claims, Customer Service, and external vendors • Lead project meetings, working sessions, and governance forums • Serve as the primary coordination point between business leaders, technology teams, and vendor partners • Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions to program leadership and executives • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; drive mitigation and resolution • Maintain integrated schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and executive summaries • Support testing coordination, business readiness, transition planning, stabilization, and operational handoff • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO best practices and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Health Plan industry experience required • Familiarity with claims, enrollment, billing, provider, and customer service operations • 6+ years of project management experience delivering large, complex initiatives • Proven experience supporting large-scale system integrations or enterprise platform implementations • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholder relationships in a matrixed environment • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments while maintaining forward momentum • Residency in an approved Sentara state • Experience with core health plan platforms such as QNXT, Facets, HealthRules, or similar preferred • Experience with data migration, vendor integrations, or enterprise transformation programs preferred • Familiarity with hybrid delivery models combining waterfall governance and agile execution preferred • Experience in startup or high-growth environments preferred • PMP Certification preferred
