📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery for services powering customer acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, and revenue operations • Define and evolve architecture for high-throughput, fault-tolerant metering and billing pipelines • Partner with Finance, RevOps, Sales, and Support to translate business needs into robust, scalable systems • Build account lifecycle flows covering acquisition, activation, expansion, billing, suspension, dunning, and offboarding • Own integrations and pipelines reconciling control-plane state with CRM, support, analytics, and BI systems • Design customer-facing usage APIs, cost reporting, and billable-action metrics • Build and operate distributed data systems with correctness guarantees, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks • Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design reviews, and operational readiness • Mentor engineers, unblock execution, and foster ownership and learning • Improve customer flows through automation, tooling, and platform improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience designing and delivering production-grade backend systems, ideally in cloud environments • Strong proficiency in at least one systems/backend language; Go preferred • Demonstrated experience building and operating distributed systems, including concurrency, reliability, scaling, consistency, and failure handling • Practical understanding of data pipelines and storage systems such as Postgres, Redshift, Kafka/Kinesis, and S3-like systems • Experience integrating and reconciling against third-party SaaS platforms, including idempotency, drift detection, and recovery • Experience with production operations, observability, incident response, performance tuning, on-call readiness, and continuous delivery • Ability to work effectively across Finance, RevOps, Sales, and Support • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including design documentation and explaining tradeoffs • Builder mindset focused on simplifying complex workflows and improving tooling
