📋 Description

• Handle day-to-day Financial Clearance and Scheduling operations to create a positive patient experience • Complete scheduling and registration functions with patients during one call • Schedule appointments timely and provide appointment information, including test preparation, directions, and order management • Verify patient demographics and insurance information • Secure payment of patients’ financial liability and perform collection efforts • Verify orders, ensure they match scheduled procedures, and index/export physician orders when assigned to Order Management • Collect and verify demographic and financial data for complex pre-registration assignments • Determine patient financial responsibility and secure pre-payment for future services • Create complete pre-registration accounts for upcoming inpatient or surgical admissions • Complete pre-certification requirements by obtaining authorization from insurers and/or healthcare facilities • Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Ability to work in a production driven call-center environment • Familiarity with working with dual computer monitors • Basic typing ability • Working knowledge of Windows based computer environment • Ability to multitask in multiple systems simultaneously • Extensive multitasking ability • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Must obtain and provide confirmation of required vaccinations and screenings, as applicable and permitted by law • Must be able to work in sitting position, use computer and answer telephone • Ability to travel • Approximately 0% travel may be required
