Tenna offers asset tracking & management, utilization analytics, preventive maintenance and work orders, parts and mechanic time tracking, scheduling/dispatch, safety and compliance (DVIR/ELD/IFTA), integrations with accounting/ERP and construction software, and telematics-powered asset financials for job costing and internal billing. The solution is marketed to contractors to reduce loss, improve utilization, extend asset life, and increase safety and compliance.

📋 Description

• Own the WordPress back end, including custom post types, taxonomies, custom fields, template logic, custom PHP plugin/theme functionality, gated content, dynamic and personalized content, form logic, and campaign infrastructure • Maintain plugin strategy and upgrade cadence for PHP, WordPress core, themes, and plugins, with staging testing before production releases • Maintain Elementor at the platform level, including custom widgets and performance and markup optimization • Maintain local, staging, and production environments with version control and documented deployments • Own site reliability and infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting, caching, CDN, database and query optimization, image delivery, Core Web Vitals, hosting, DNS, SSL, backups, and disaster recovery • Own website security, including hardening, vulnerability scanning and patching, least-privilege access, MFA/SSO, and incident response • Maintain GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, consent-mode, and WCAG 2.2 AA compliance support • Own technical SEO, including crawlability, sitemaps, schema markup, SEMrush monitoring, backlink remediation, and Google Search Console diagnostics • Own tracking through GA4, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot tracking, and server-side tagging • Build and maintain WordPress, HubSpot, and marketing and sales system integrations through APIs and webhooks • Document architecture, integrations, credential management, processes, runbooks, QA standards, and pre-release checklists • Partner daily with the Front-End Designer & Developer and support marketing stakeholders with technical scoping, estimates, and explanations of risks and tradeoffs • Use Tenna-approved AI tools for debugging, code review, log triage, test generation, and documentation, ensuring AI-assisted code is reviewed, tested, and security-checked

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional back-end web development, including substantial WordPress experience • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, web development, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience • Experience supporting a B2B SaaS marketing site and demand generation team is a plus • Exposure to marketing operations or revenue operations is a plus • Strong PHP and MySQL skills • Fluency with WordPress APIs, including hooks and filters, REST API, and WP-CLI • Ability to read, write, and debug custom plugin code • Working JavaScript ability to debug front-end and back-end interactions • Experience with version-controlled staging-to-production workflows, disciplined change management, and rollback capability • Technical Elementor experience, including performance and markup implications • Hands-on SEMrush experience for site health monitoring, Site Audit remediation, backlink auditing and disavows, and technical issue triage • Demonstrated website security ownership, including hardening, vulnerability management, backups, and incident response • Experience with managed WordPress hosting such as WP Engine, CDNs, caching layers, and DNS management • Technical SEO fluency, including Google Search Console, crawl diagnostics, schema markup, redirect strategy, and site migration integrity • Hands-on GA4 and Google Tag Manager implementation • Working understanding of consent management and web privacy requirements • API integration experience, ideally with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform • Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA and technical compliance work • Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and judgment in reviewing, testing, and securing generated code and dependencies • Clear written communication for explaining technical tradeoffs, risks, and timelines to non-technical marketing stakeholders • Strong documentation habits and repeatable processes • Work samples demonstrating technical judgment are required
