📋 Description

• Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for digital, analog, and RF-based assemblies • Develop test program software, often independently • Design and review Interface Test Adapter schematics and layouts • Analyze problems and recommend solutions on Teradyne ATE platforms • Work with test engineering customers to understand and improve test processes • Recommend improvements to test coverage quality • Release test solutions to production, including environmental and automation requirements • Discover customer requirements for hardware, software, and test-cell integration • Develop electrical and mechanical hardware schematics and PCB/interface hardware requirements • Develop new testing techniques and solution designs • Demonstrate tester capabilities for customer evaluations • Assist customers with tester operation and capabilities • Provide training, technical exchanges, and technical papers • Build strong technical customer relationships and understand customer direction and needs • Collaborate with the Field Applications team and work independently • Apply understanding of ATE industry trends, competitive products, and product positioning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in electrical/computer engineering or related fields OR equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience in test engineering or similar work • Test/product engineering experience in analog, digital, mixed signal and RF testing and test development preferred • Prior programming experience on Teradyne or ATE platforms required • Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, C++ programming and Windows • Ability to work collaboratively and independently • Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills • Solid presentation skills • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English • Proven technical record • Willingness to travel more than 50% • Must be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive responsibilities • ITAR eligibility: US Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee, or otherwise lawfully admitted under an amnesty program • May require eligibility for access to Federal Contracts under the “For Official Use Only” designation • Export licensing may be required prior to employment • International relocation is not available
