📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert and oversee Accounts Receivable processes • Design, build, and continuously improve Accounts Receivable processes • Oversee wholesale Accounts Receivable collections performance and drive credit and collections processes • Direct daily wholesale Accounts Receivable operations and transactional activity • Delegate, supervise, and participate in accounting department tasks • Prepare and review ledger entries and accruals • Manage consolidated Accounts Receivable balances and ledgers, subledger accuracy, and account fluctuations • Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations • Design, document, implement, and monitor processes and internal controls across cash and sales processing, master data, procurement, and inventory management • Collaborate with sales and inventory management stakeholders on master data, receiving, and systems issues • Respond to external and internal customer inquiries • Support quarter-end and year-end close, reporting, regulatory requirements, financial commentary, and supporting schedules • Support shared service projects, system implementation, and user adoption • Monitor and develop KPIs related to performance, cash collections, and aged debt • Lead or assist with special projects, including new business acquisitions • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects • Participate in quarterly external audits • Resolve internal Accounts Receivable deficiencies and meet deadlines • Maintain confidentiality and perform other accounting department duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business or accounting • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience • Three years supervisory experience preferred • Intermediate knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal control, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance • Manufacturing and/or Retail experience preferred • Experience or exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash/revenue, accruals and reserves • Understanding of inventory manufacturing processes, retail sales processes, sales and use tax, public company audit, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance • Experience working in a highly computerized environment and processing financial transactions using an ERP system and/or accounting software • Epicor experience preferred • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with competing deadlines • Professional written and verbal communication with multiple levels and departments • Analytical, detail-oriented, and honest • Background check required • Must reside and work in an approved state: CT, DE, FL, GA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX, or WV
