📋 Description

• Own the architecture and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data products • Integrate data from distributed repositories, applications, and enterprise systems • Design for data quality, lineage, security, observability, and long-term maintainability • Establish engineering standards for testing, source control, deployment, and operations • Work across platform, security, software, and mission teams to deliver production capability • Review technical designs, mentor engineers, and resolve complex integration challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Eight or more years of experience building production data systems • Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, and modern data-engineering patterns • Experience designing data pipelines and services in cloud or distributed environments • Strong software-engineering fundamentals, including testing, source control, CI/CD, and operational monitoring • Demonstrated technical leadership and ownership of complex data capabilities • Experience supporting a Department of Defense customer • Active Secret clearance • Preferred: Experience supporting the U.S. Army • Preferred: Experience with AWS or another large-scale cloud platform • Preferred: Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, Army Vantage, or comparable data platforms • Preferred: Experience integrating enterprise content repositories and legacy systems • Preferred: Familiarity with distributed processing, infrastructure as code, and DevSecOps
