📋 Description

• Administer the full lifecycle of subcontracts and purchase orders, including solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, award, and closeout • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and company purchasing policy requirements • Serve as the primary interface between program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external suppliers • Develop and issue RFQs/RFPs; perform price/cost analysis and evaluate supplier proposals for adequacy, compliance, and risk • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, terms and conditions, and commercial licensing agreements • Procure materials, components, and services aligned with production schedules and technical requirements • Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract terms, including flow-down provisions, data rights, IP/licensing clauses, and indemnification language • Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements • Monitor subcontractor performance, including cost, schedule, and technical compliance; address performance issues proactively • Maintain accurate procurement files and documentation to support audits • Support small business utilization goals and supplier diversity initiatives where applicable • Collaborate with legal, finance, and program teams to resolve contractual issues and align with business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Contracts, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of experience in subcontracts administration, procurement or purchasing in a government contracting environment • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and related federal acquisition regulations • Experience supporting manufacturing environments, including procurement of materials, components, and production-related services • Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial terms and conditions, including software or technical licensing agreements • Proven ability to perform cost/price analysis and evaluate supplier proposals • Strong understanding of subcontract and purchase order types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, etc.) and associated risk profiles • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint or similar) and Microsoft Office tools • Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance; only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance • LMI will only consider applicants with security clearances or applicants who are eligible for security clearances
