📋 Description

• Manage university-wide document accessibility remediation projects • Serve as the dedicated point of contact for university departments • Coordinate remediation of PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and academic documents • Oversee staffing, production schedules, project intake, priorities, and deadlines • Monitor quality, SLAs, turnaround times, and acceptance requirements • Coordinate accessibility specialists, QA testers, and subcontractors • Provide weekly project updates and quarterly performance reports • Manage escalations, corrective actions, and stakeholder communication

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant project management experience (listed as preferred) • Experience managing digital accessibility, document remediation, or Section 508 compliance projects • Experience supporting universities, colleges, government agencies, or similarly complex organizations • Understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA, ADA Title II, and Section 508 • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines • Experience coordinating distributed technical teams and subcontractors • Direct higher education accessibility program experience preferred • Experience supporting Canvas LMS-related documents or academic content preferred • Experience managing high-volume document remediation services preferred • PMP, DHS Trusted Tester, ADS, or IAAP accessibility certification preferred • Familiarity with FERPA-related confidentiality and security procedures preferred • U.S. citizen or Green Card holder; candidates on other visa types cannot be considered • 1099 or corp-to-corp availability; role is not available as a W2 position
