📋 Description

• Manage the development and revision of standards system claims and labeling policies and associated documents • Draft and revise criteria, hold meetings with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate public and targeted consultations, and finalize and publish documents • Manage ISEAL Code compliance and best practices related to claims • Develop procedures, guidance, and tools supporting the standards system claims framework • Collaborate with internal legislation experts on risks and opportunities related to legislative requirements • Collaborate with other departments and teams to support stakeholders’ use of Textile Exchange trademarks and credible claims • Manage external stakeholder inquiries regarding claims and trademark use through the case management system • Manage team members, including goal setting, performance management, coaching, and professional development • Lead key projects related to claims and labeling • Provide expert guidance and claims submission approval support • Drive stakeholder understanding and adoption through guidance, training, and education

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with voluntary standards and/or verification programs • Strong understanding of credible sustainability claims and trademark use related to certification • Experience managing and developing staff, including performance management, coaching and professional development • Experience leading projects, managing deadlines, and delivering on workplans • Ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders globally • Detail-oriented, logical, systematic, methodical, and highly organized • Excellent written and grammatical skills in English to draft technical content • Ability to synthesize and present complex information simply and meaningfully • Familiarity with business analytics tools such as Power BI and CRM tools such as Salesforce • Strong work ethic and high degree of autonomy; self-starting and proactive • Demonstrated interest in Textile Exchange’s vision, mission, and goals • Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced remote environment, meet deadlines, and share progress regularly • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and overlap with North American time zones for parts of the workday • Experience working at an international organization • Ability to travel occasionally for conferences, work meetings, and industry events • Preferred: Experience working in global textile supply chains and comprehensive understanding of global supply chains and stakeholders • Preferred: Understanding of the Empowering Consumers Directive (ECD) • Preferred: Experience with ISEAL-compliant schemes
