📋 Description

• Translate English content into Japanese in the Medical Benefits field • Join a dedicated team of preferred language specialists supporting high-quality MedBens translations • Potentially perform translation, machine translation post-editing, and proofreading/quality management work • Complete Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests to evaluate skills • Work under tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail • Collaborate with TransPerfect clients through freelance translation services

🎯 Requirements

• Native speaker of Japanese • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Proven experience translating content in the Medical Benefits field • Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines • Candidates must fulfill one of the following: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent degree with significant translation training) from a recognized higher-education institution; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body • Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement • Ability to complete Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM tests • Latest CV must include relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading/QM experience and proposed best Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading per-word rate in USD
