📋 Description

• Perform full-cycle game localization and translation from Simplified Chinese to English • Localize in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, and marketing copy • Conduct linguistic LQA • Polish narratives and adapt content cross-culturally • Participate in creative brainstorming with game teams • Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during core business hours • Complete information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample testing, and onboarding

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on game localization experience • Native or near-native English proficiency • Simplified Chinese to English translation expertise • Minimum one of: degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies with significant translation training; 2+ years of translation experience plus a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience without a degree; or a translation certification issued by an appropriate government body • Gaming translation and localization experience, including gaming genres, partial client lists, and estimated word count • Availability for core business hours • Ability to complete a short unpaid qualification assessment test • Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement • Ability to complete a translation test • Gaming experience, preferably including mobile games
