📋 Description

• Provide full-cycle game localization and translation for a flagship mobile gaming account • Localize in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, and marketing copy • Perform linguistic LQA • Polish narrative content • Adapt content cross-culturally • Participate in creative brainstorming with game teams • Complete information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample testing, and onboarding • Work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, during core business hours

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on game localization experience • Native or near-native English proficiency • ZHCN → EN language-pair expertise • Availability during core business hours • One of the following: degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training); 2+ years of translation experience plus a college degree; 5+ years of translation experience with no degree required; or a translation certification issued by an appropriate government body • Applicants must sign a confidentiality agreement • Applicants must complete a translation test • Gaming translation/localization experience, including gaming genres, partial client lists, and estimated word count • Ability to complete a short unpaid qualification assessment test within the next few days • Mobile game-playing experience recommended • CV required
