📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day operations of a team of pharmacists and technicians • Schedule and monitor staff and daily workflow • Monitor productivity, performance standards, production volume, prescription turnaround time, and service standards • Plan and direct workflow and project assignments • Develop employee skills, evaluate performance, and provide feedback • Resolve employee relations issues • Conduct hiring, training, and staff evaluation • Track employee compliance with quality, service, and production standards • Assist the Senior Pharmacy Manager with cost monitoring and achieving cost-to-fill goals • Address staff, operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues • Work in production as needed • Implement programs and process improvements to enhance customer service • Analyze pharmacy operations and efficiencies with the Senior Pharmacy Manager • Serve as an escalation point for issues requiring expertise or discretion • Represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects • Complete other special projects and assigned tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, RPh or Pharm D, licensed and registered in the state of employment • 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting • 1+ years of leadership experience • Preferably one year at Express Scripts • Current pharmacy licensure in good standing • General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email • Strong knowledge of current pharmacy regulations • Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to effectively develop and assist team members • Experience training and coaching less experienced staff • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions • Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments • Technical expertise of ESI’s systems, platforms, products and services helpful • Willingness to work a flexible schedule for peak times • Willingness to travel 10% • Must reside and be licensed in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, or Tennessee • Must work Monday through Friday, typically 8 am–5 pm Eastern Time, with flexibility to support outside regular hours • Cable broadband or fiber optic internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
