📋 Description

• Plan, recommend, and execute investigations of workers’ compensation claims • Manage workers’ compensation claims requiring timely investigations and financial accuracy • Provide benefit oversight, appropriate file disposition, and adherence to statutory guidelines • Leverage doctors, nurses, attorneys, and regulators to facilitate claimant outcomes • Establish and maintain productive business relationships with customers • Gather and analyze data to inform critical claim decisions • Calculate disability benefit rates and claim financial exposures • Use contemporary technology to achieve accurate and efficient claim outcomes • Demonstrate professional diplomacy during customer interactions • Contribute to collaboration and operational performance • Embrace continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the state of Maryland • HS Diploma required • Prior workers’ compensation insurance claim handling preferred for Claim Representative • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Strong computer proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) • Ability to meet productivity targets in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Ability to adapt and flourish using industry-changing workflows • Ability to self-manage competing priorities while delivering accurate work within key timelines • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation claim handling required for Sr. Claim Representative • Certification exams and adjusting licenses as required by state • Strong written and verbal communication skills • HS Diploma required for Sr. Claim Representative • Bachelor’s Degree preferred for Sr. Claim Representative
