📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and repair high-value analytical instruments, including chromatography systems • Ensure sophisticated scientific instruments operate at peak performance • Deliver exceptional technical service to customers • Build strong relationships with customers advancing critical research and innovation • Troubleshoot and solve complex instrument problems • Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific in the field • Help customers achieve scientific discoveries that make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer • Work first shift (days) • Respond to emergency service calls when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; no prior experience required • Preferred fields of study: Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field • Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are a plus • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor • Strong verbal and written communication abilities • Fluency in English required; additional language skills welcome • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, MS Office, and service management software • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and documentation • Valid driver's license • Ability to travel up to 50–75% • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods • Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment preferred • Availability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls • Must be able to obtain necessary credentials to access customer facilities • Must be able to obtain US Government security credentials • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively • Collaborative mindset with ability to work independently • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety standards
