📋 Description

• Lead and develop project management staff to achieve group objectives • Recruit, train, develop, and assess employee performance • Write, evaluate, amend, deploy, and monitor compliance with procedures and SOPs • Advise on project management issues and identify development and efficiency opportunities • Liaise with sponsor operational personnel and internal departments • Manage and delegate day-to-day clinical trial activities • Resolve issues and answer queries during clinical trials • Conduct regular face-to-face client meetings • Address client concerns and interpret client needs • Manage client- and program-level oversight and relationships across similar studies • Establish and advocate high levels of customer service • Plan and support team workflow • Mentor and coach team members on development and task efficiencies • Serve as backup for the Associate Director of Project Management • Advise on action plans • May act as Project Manager for key studies and manage activities with external vendors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • 5+ years of comparable experience, or equivalent and relevant combination of education, training, and experience • 1+ year of leadership responsibility • Central lab leadership strongly preferred • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills • Solid Microsoft Office skills for analysis and presentation of data • Critical thinking skills • Advanced knowledge of project management theories, principles, and best practices relating to lab operations • Strong attention to detail and compliance with procedures and policies • Effective client relationship management skills • Strong supervisory and management skills • Proficient in problem solving and prioritizing • Strong analytical and quantitative skills • Ability to multitask and handle pressure • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening • Ability to communicate and understand information with diverse groups • Ability to work upright and stationary for typical working hours • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology • May require travel
