• Grow test volumes at hospitals through targeted discovery and engagement of clinical and financial stakeholders • Establish the clinical value and health economic impact of BRAHMS Procalcitonin (PCT)-aided antibiotic decision-making for sepsis and lower respiratory tract infections • Own strategy and execution for targeted hospitals and health systems across the territory • Identify opportunities to expand appropriate PCT utilization • Develop partnerships with clinical and business stakeholders • Guide hospitals through initial engagement, protocol adoption, education, implementation and sustained utilization • Own strategic account profiling, targeting and development at assigned target accounts • Interface with License Partners and Health System Executives to coordinate target-account activities • Gain agreement from clinical and laboratory stakeholders to broaden test utilization and achieve hospital-wide protocol adoption • Build relationships with Physician Leadership, Laboratory Leadership and clinicians involved in antibiotic stewardship, Pharmacy, Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine and Critical Care • Lead test protocol implementation and test volume growth in the assigned territory • Assist with hospital protocols and standardized order sets related to sepsis and lower respiratory tract infections • Develop new relationships through strategic prospecting, outreach and stakeholder engagement • Communicate PCT clinical value and health economic impact to hospital stakeholders • Manage hospital-wide implementation plans, including coordination with clinical educators and long-term follow-up • Work with individual hospitals and networks to establish relationships, conduct account activities and drive test adoption
• BA, BS or equivalent • Six or more years of sales or clinical demand experience • Demonstrated excellence in the medical diagnostics or similar market • History of successfully working with clinicians throughout the primary care areas of the hospital • Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts and influence multiple stakeholders throughout the decision-making and implementation process • Proven presentation and advanced negotiation skills • Strong communication and organizational skills • Senior level / Executive sales skills • Ability to establish and develop strategic senior-level customer relationships • Ability to travel extensively and as needed; minimum travel is >50% • Strong analytical skills and ability to implement complex selling strategies • Superior relationship-building ability with leadership qualities • Proficient with SFDC CRM, Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook • Self-directed and highly motivated • Ability to prospect, develop new relationships and create opportunities within complex hospital accounts • Strong territory-management skills and ability to prioritize activity across a geographically broad territory
