📋 Description

• Support the commercial field sales team with LC-MS instrumentation, focusing on small molecule mass spectrometry for pharma or environmental applications • Provide pre- and post-sales technical expertise across multiple technology platforms • Conduct product demonstrations and customer training virtually, remotely, in customer laboratories, or at onsite training centers • Customize applications and methodologies with customers and internal teams, including troubleshooting, method development, and data interpretation • Collect and analyze data from customer experiments or field trials using statistical methods and provide recommendations • Resolve or escalate customer issues and complaints • Deliver technical presentations explaining solution capabilities and benefits • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, R&D, product management, service professionals, and engineers • Stay informed about scientific literature, methodologies, and regulatory requirements • Provide scientific support and counsel to internal teams and customers • Identify improvement opportunities and build customer relationships to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific field, or equivalent work experience • 2–3 years of hands-on technical experience with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments, software, data analysis, and techniques • Experience with quantitative LCMS workflows, such as Pharma QA/QC labs or US EPA methods • Experience with associated sample preparation techniques • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines • Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide product guidance • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Proven ability to work independently and a strong work ethic • Ability to travel up to 75% • Extensive customer contact • Must be able to work with hazardous/toxic materials • Position is not approved for relocation assistance
