📋 Description

• Show leadership within the Talent Production group • Proactively pitch and secure guests, revenue opportunities, and content ideas • Collaborate with production colleagues to book guests and manage talent relationships across ESPN and Disney platforms • Guide less experienced team members and lead meetings; manage direct reports • Manage relationships, bookings, and casting of athlete, coach, and celebrity talent • Suggest appropriate and timely guests and alternative guest options across ESPN shows and platforms • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships with guests, SIDs, athletes, coaches, agents, and PR representatives • Maintain an extensive database of talent and representatives • Drive editorial meetings with story ideas and guest possibilities • Forecast and anticipate guest needs based on seasons, news relevance, and show needs • Provide on-site support for guest bookings, commercial shoots, and events as needed • Work non-traditional days and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills • Ability to plan and lead effectively in a team environment • Deep sports knowledge and entertainment rolodex • Guest/talent booking experience • Knowledge of the media industry • Ability to excel amid frequent changes and produce results • Ability to prepare and submit story ideas/guest segments • Ability to write detailed features and show pitches • Ability to react quickly and positively under sensitive and changing production situations • Exceptional leadership skills • Minimum 6 years of experience in sports media or broadcast industry (preferred) • Familiarity with computers, search engines, internet searches, collaboration tools, and social media (preferred) • Required High School Diploma
