📋 Description

• Monitor and perform quality control on live event and linear acquisition signals across multiple transport formats • Make adjustments to video, audio, and closed captioning as needed • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on acquisition, monitoring, and distribution of live feeds • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operational issues to ensure reliable signal delivery and service continuity • Execute established Standard Operating Procedures and workflows for transmission and distribution responsibilities • Serve as a technical point of contact for internal departments and external partners • Route and monitor multiple audio and video feeds across varied transmission and distribution paths • Remotely configure and support hardware systems for live event acquisition, distribution, and linear operations • Support operations in a 24/7 Technical Operations Center environment • Provide timely, customer-focused technical support to internal teams and external partners • Build knowledge of emerging technologies, tools, and workflows • Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives supporting operational performance and reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding of signal flows, signal measurements, and operational procedures • Basic understanding of satellite, fiber, and IP-based transport technologies • Basic understanding of HLS, RTMP, SRT, unicast, and multicast • Understanding of digital distribution equipment and technologies used in broadcast transmission environments • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and common computer-based tools • Ability to collaborate in a 24/7 technical operations environment • High school diploma or equivalent • Prior broadcasting experience, related military experience, or similar transferable experience preferred
