📋 Description

• Serve as the senior technical leader for network security engagements across next-generation firewalls, Cisco ISE network access control, F5 BIG-IP load balancing and application delivery, and SASE/Zero Trust architectures. • Design, deploy, and troubleshoot complex multi-domain networking and security environments. • Lead large, multi-technology projects and cross-functional delivery teams from discovery and architecture through implementation, testing, cutover, and knowledge transfer. • Lead client-facing discovery sessions, design workshops, architecture reviews, and technical strategy discussions. • Create high-level and low-level designs, network diagrams, policy matrices, implementation runbooks, migration plans, rollback procedures, and as-built documentation. • Serve as design authority and technical escalation point for consultants and offshore engineers. • Train client operations teams on day-two platform administration and incident response. • Support sales campaigns as a subject matter expert and contribute to statements of work, proposals, and scope estimates. • Build reusable delivery assets, automation, enablement materials, technical content, and reference architectures. • Mentor technical consultants and advance practice delivery maturity. • Own engagement quality, documentation, technical outcomes, client satisfaction, risk escalation, and delivery timelines. • Maintain a 60 percent target utilization, with remaining capacity for presales, mentorship, practice development, and thought leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• 10 or more years of network security, infrastructure security, or security engineering experience, including at least 4 years in consulting, professional services, or client-facing delivery. • Hands-on enterprise production experience with next-generation firewalls on at least two of Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Secure Firewall, and Fortinet platforms. • Production experience deploying Cisco ISE for 802.1X, TACACS+, and network access policy enforcement across wired, wireless, and VPN environments, including distributed nodes. • Production experience with F5 BIG-IP application delivery, including Local Traffic Manager and either BIG-IP DNS or BIG-IP Advanced WAF. • Production experience with at least one SASE platform: Zscaler ZIA/ZPA or Palo Alto Prisma Access, including secure web gateway, CASB, ZTNA policy configuration, and connector or traffic-forwarding design. • Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPsec, SSL/TLS, network segmentation, DNS, and Zero Trust architecture. • Experience with AWS VPC, Azure VNet, and GCP VPC, including security groups, cloud firewalls, cloud-native load balancing, and hybrid connectivity. • Experience with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML 2.0, and SCIM integrations. • Experience integrating security platforms with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and syslog infrastructure. • Experience automating deployment with Terraform, Ansible, and vendor REST APIs. • Demonstrated ability to independently lead large, multi-technology and cross-practice projects and direct other technical resources. • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce client-ready deliverables. • Ability to travel at least 25 percent. • Preferred, not required: CCIE Security or equivalent, PCNSE/PCNSC, Fortinet NSE 7/8, F5 certifications, Zscaler ZCCA/ZCCP, CCNP Security, CISSP, microsegmentation, additional SSE platforms, regulated-environment compliance, multi-cloud IaC/CI/CD, consulting or managed-services experience, mentoring, and technical content authorship.
