• Perform quantitative and qualitative data collection, industry and subject-matter research, and analysis to solve client problems • Design and develop data-driven analytics solutions supporting Revenue Cycle initiatives, including denials avoidance, revenue integrity, and process improvement • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations translating complex analytics into client insights and actionable recommendations • Provide expertise in insurance denial protocols and recommend data-informed client solutions • Apply appropriate tools and methodologies; research journals and online tools when needed • Lead engagement work stream initiatives and oversee qualitative and quantitative analyses • Manage representative-level client relationships and tailor communication to stakeholders • Audit practices and work through data analysis, interviewing, and shadowing to ensure quality and identify opportunities or risks • Identify next steps and workarounds to work more independently • Mentor and support junior team members in analytic methods and revenue cycle domain knowledge • Contribute to a positive team environment and meet client deadlines and quality expectations • Expand existing client relationships and participate in business development
• 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle required • Preferably already at the Manager level in consulting or in the healthcare industry • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or equivalent in analytics, computer science, economics, finance, accounting, statistics, econometrics, public health, engineering, or other practice-related subjects • Experience leading Denials Avoidance/Prevention and Avoidable Write-Offs initiatives with measurable financial results • Experience with process redesign and process improvement • Experience working across the entire Revenue Cycle, including Patient Access, HIM/Coding, and Patient Financial Services • Cerner or Epic experience; Cerner Patient Accounting experience beneficial • Proven capability with SQL/Snowflake and Tableau/Power BI necessary • Knowledge and experience with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, MS Access, Alteryx, or Databricks beneficial • Willingness to expand analytical capabilities • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to present findings clearly to client executives and internal leadership • Willing to travel infrequently, up to 20%, depending on project requirements and client expectations • Must submit verification of legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
