📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery workshops covering customer requirements, workflows, integrations, security considerations, and business objectives • Design scalable cloud-based solutions aligned with customer needs and Reuters Imagen platform capabilities • Act as technical lead throughout the sales cycle by delivering demos, handling technical discussions, and building customer confidence • Partner with Commercial and Account teams on proposals, RFP responses, statements of work, solution designs, and effort estimates • Advise customers on deployment, hosting, integration, and configuration approaches • Champion sustainable, configuration-led solutions over custom development • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies • Ensure smooth transition from sales through implementation and delivery • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for strategic accounts during complex implementations, feature adoption, and ongoing optimisation • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share customer insights and influence product direction • Contribute to presales tools, technical playbooks, and market expertise

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales support for enterprise or SaaS software • Demonstrable track record closing or materially contributing to complex technical deals in the US and North American market • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, hosting architectures, and storage solutions; AWS and Azure essential • Strong expertise in data modelling, cross-system data reconciliation, and integration design, including API patterns, data attribute mapping, and business process dependencies • Able to deliver product demonstrations and handle technical objections from developers to executives • Experience creating technical proposals, SOWs, architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and RFP responses • Comfortable operating post-sale in a technical advisory capacity alongside delivery teams • Fluent professional English • Able to work independently in a remote environment and across time zones • Proven use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for research, analysis, and workflow efficiency • Preferred: experience in sports, media, broadcast, or content management technology sectors • Preferred: knowledge of video codecs, transcoding, metadata standards, live ingest protocols, and content delivery workflows • Preferred: understanding of AI services and their application in video processing, automated tagging, data enrichment, and intelligent content discovery • Preferred: experience with Salesforce, Azure DevOps, and Monday.com • Preferred: familiarity with SAML/SSO, access control models, and enterprise media security and compliance requirements
