📋 Description

• Set and own Thumbtack’s multi-year Talent and Organizational Development strategy • Integrate performance management, career architecture, talent and succession planning, leadership development, and change into a measurable roadmap • Evolve performance management, including goal setting, expectations, feedback, calibration, and accountability • Maintain and evolve career architecture, role and level frameworks, capability expectations, and career paths • Lead talent planning and succession practices, identifying capability and bench gaps and accelerating high-potential employees • Design scalable development experiences to close capability gaps and strengthen manager and senior-leader effectiveness • Apply an AI-first approach to improve insight, personalization, and scale • Establish an integrated measurement framework using business, talent, and program data • Lead a small team of experienced practitioners • Partner with senior leaders and HRBPs on talent and organizational challenges • Report to the Head of People

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across talent management, organizational development, learning and development, or related disciplines, including 4+ years leading and developing people • Deep expertise in talent management, including performance, career architecture, talent planning, and succession • Demonstrated strength in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and change management • Track record of personally designing and implementing scalable talent and organizational solutions with measurable outcomes • Credibility with senior leaders and ability to lead through ambiguity and influence without formal authority • AI-first approach, including hands-on experience building multi-step workflows and sound judgment about AI in sensitive people processes and decisions • Player-coach orientation and analytical mindset • Familiarity with adult-learning and talent-management practices • Ability to use data to improve talent and organizational solutions
