📋 Description

• Design and implement a comprehensive workforce funding and partnership strategy • Secure student tuition assistance and advance the mission of Ancora institutions, brands, and students • Develop and execute a workforce board and partner development strategy, including research methods, target sources, timelines, collaborators, resources, and expected outcomes • Serve as a primary community contact and advocate for Ancora schools, students, local industries, and communities • Access labor market data and monitor news feeds, social media, industry sites, grants, and related requests for proposals • Cultivate, steward, and maintain relationships with government agencies, funding agencies, corporations, and industry partners • Provide partners with regular update reports on the impact of their investments • Collaborate with Academic and Admissions Teams to track and communicate workforce agency or partner needs • Help shape program development to respond to workforce needs • Work with admissions and finance teams to understand and address student tuition assistance needs • Work with academics, campus, and compliance personnel to understand program offerings and the student body served • Ensure activities, applications, and documentation adhere to ethical and legal standards • Advocate for Ancora brands through written communications and presentations • Act as a visible ambassador for the school’s mission

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field • 3–5 years of progressive workforce agency, workforce funding or grant writing experience • Proven portfolio of identifying, writing, and securing competitive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and institutional grants, ideally within the education and/or non-profit sector • Direct experience working within a non-profit school organization, private school, or higher education system preferred • Understanding of tuition assistance structures, financial aid, and student-body demographics preferred • Master’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Public Administration (MPA), or Business Administration (MBA) preferred • Certified Grant Professional (GPC) credential preferred • Demonstrated experience serving as a public-facing representative and building strategic partnerships between an organization and local industries or community leaders • Hands-on experience with grant finding and management databases such as Instrumentl, Grants.gov, Candid’s Foundation Directory, or similar • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
