📋 Description

• Provide Technical Advisory Services for commissioning and warranty support of solar PV inverters and associated electrical systems • Commission solar PV inverters according to project requirements • Gather information to assess project requirements within the assigned scope • Follow Company commissioning procedures and checklists • Troubleshoot, correct, and document problems during commissioning or warranty support • Update drawings and project documentation to “as installed” status • Lead assigned components of client Final Acceptance Tests • Attend factory witness tests • Coordinate with vendors to resolve testing issues • Train clients on system maintenance and operation • Train field service personnel on Company processes and product solutions as needed • Identify site-specific opportunities and recommend solutions to management • Provide commissioning status and testing reports • Maintain safety qualifications and follow Company and client safety requirements • Manage site schedules and coordinate personnel, escalating issues as appropriate • Ensure assigned safety equipment is available and functional • Complete assigned tasks, advise managers, and notify managers of delivery issues • Collaborate with peers and cross-organizational stakeholders • Comply with Company policies, procedures, regulations, and laws • Recommend improvements and ensure effective use of business tools and processes

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • 1 year experience commissioning and servicing power distribution, power electronic and rotating machine products • Demonstrated presentation skills • Ability to work in outdoor environments in high and low temperatures • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • Ability to work standing for long periods of time on hard surfaces • Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, approximately 75%, occasionally with limited notice • Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts • Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills • Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility • Proficiency in MS Office, software programming language, and simulation tool • Preferred: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent via education and/or work experience • Preferred: 3 years’ experience commissioning power distribution, power electronic and rotating machine products • Preferred: Demonstrated experience with Utility Scale Solar PV Inverters • Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge and experience with TMEIC engineering tools, and product configuration tools • Preferred: Demonstrated successful working relationships with foreign parent or subsidiary companies • Preferred: Demonstrated success coordinating work of others to achieve assigned goals
