📋 Description

• Coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of new product, repair, and equipment rental orders • Communicate with SLPs about funding cases and instruct them on document preparation, funding policies, and regulations • Work with insurance providers, government agencies, and educational institutions to place orders • Track funding authorization cases through timely resolution • Use online resources and communicate with funding agencies to verify eligibility • Review prior authorization documents against third-party payer criteria • Research previous orders and payment history/DSOs for repair or new order requests • Enter and complete orders in the order management system database • Advocate for clients by communicating with clients and family members regarding funding requests and co-payment requirements • Represent client cases with third-party insurance providers and troubleshoot problems to resolution • Resolve third-party denials and consult to finalize difficult funding cases • Alert the supervisor to potential third-party payer challenges • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor Degree, or 2–4 years of related experience • Background in the health insurance field preferred • Oral and written communication skills • Interpersonal, collaboration, and teaming skills • Customer service orientation • Internet navigation skills • MS Office Word and Outlook skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Able to work at a desk for prolonged periods of time • Ability to work with interruptions in a fast-paced environment
