📋 Description

• Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments • Facilitate setup and full migration to Microsoft 365 • Manage Windows and Mac endpoints using MDM tools for enrollment, configuration, compliance, and patch management • Administer SSO, MFA, directory integrations, identity provider configuration, and authentication policies • Manage DLP, EDR, email security, and SIEM tools for threat detection and policy enforcement • Provide tier 2/3 support for firm-wide SaaS applications • Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts across endpoint, email, identity, and cloud environments • Support compliance activities and internal audits; maintain security-control evidence and documentation • Contribute to incident response, including detection, containment, remediation, and post-incident review • Assist with vulnerability management, patch cadence tracking, and endpoint hygiene reporting • Identify security or operational gaps and drive remediation • Develop dashboards and reports for security metrics, compliance status, and operational health • Manage vendor and service-provider relationships and ensure SLAs are met • Oversee security operations and compliance with industry standards and internal policies • Translate business needs into operational capability, capacity planning, DR/BCP design, cloud migration strategy, and lifecycle roadmaps • Report directly to the IT Director as a hands-on individual contributor

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years experience in IT systems administration, security, operations, or a combined role • Proven expertise in managing modern, complex IT environments • Enterprise-level collaboration suite administration experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace • Knowledge of identity/access controls, patching, vulnerability management, and secure configuration practices • Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans, with understanding of RTO/RPO and backup validation • Working knowledge of EDR, email security (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, anti-phishing), DLP, or SIEM tooling in an operational capacity • Hands-on MDM/UEM experience across Mac and Windows; experience with Jamf, Microsoft Intune, or equivalent • Experience administering SSO, MFA, and an identity provider such as Okta, Google Identity, Azure AD/Entra ID, or equivalent • Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management, endpoint hygiene, phishing defense, and zero-trust principles • Experience supporting a fully remote or distributed workforce • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Experience in a law firm, legal technology, or professional services environment (preferred) • Exposure to compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or NIST CSF (preferred) • 1–3 years of leadership or management experience overseeing IT professionals (preferred) • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Splunk, or ELK stack (preferred) • Scripting or automation experience with n8n, Python, Bash, or Google Apps Script (preferred) • Experience with cloud security posture management or SaaS security review (preferred) • Demonstrated experience with disaster recovery planning and testing (preferred)
